Admitted to the Bar in December of 1996, Nicolas St-Vincent was the youngest lawyer in Quebec at the time. Nicolas began his career in commercial law, where he quickly observed that taxation dictated the structure of companies and their methods of acquisition/merger/sale. While working, he continued his professional training and obtained a master’s degree in tax law in 1999. In 2001, he co-founded the tax law department of one of Laval’s most prestigious law firms where he worked in litigation and tax planning.
As a speaker in the House of Financial Security, he was recruited by subsidiaries of the Power Financial Corporation: Great West Life Insurance and London Life. Where for eight years he held the position of Senior Advisor for the Province of Quebec in the tax and estate planning group.
In 2013 Nicolas joined Coaching Financier Trek Inc., as a partner. Subsequently in 2016 and 2017, the firm appeared in the Canadian Business Journal’s Profit 500 lit of fastest growing Canadian businesses.
Aware of the profound changes currently shaking up the financial services industry, Nicolas has decided to establish a new firm dedicated to high net-worth families in order to meet their needs for independent and objective advice, as well as grant them access to a transparent taxation structure rather than one laden with high and hidden administrative fees.
